PCT Reminder Service

PCT REMINDER, at www.pctreminder.com, has been created by PIPERPAT DOT COM LIMITED to provide a free automated web-based reminder service for patent attorneys and IP Management Departments around the world. It is designed so that those important milestones in a PCT application (or Paris Convention application for that matter) can be tracked easily and simply and acted upon as appropriate.

Pipers Patent Attorneys use and recommend the use of PCTreminder as it enables patent attorneys and their clients to enter a priority date and receive automatic preset reminders by email – the initial email reminders are intended to function as “back-up” reminders for the preparation of patent documents for filing within the 12 month Paris Convention Priority period.

Because it is a free service involving the user's participation in entering the relevant priority date(s) correctly, PCT Reminder accepts no responsibility for any failure or misuse of the system. It is intended to be a useful back up only and is supplementary to already existing reminder systems. The service has the feature of being available from your desktop and is particularly useful for attorneys when they are away from their offices. The facility which allows entrants to select up to four different email addresses is especially useful.

If you have filed a PCT or Convention application and would like PCT Reminder to send you reminders at the specified dates then simply click on the CREATE REMINDER link on the PCT REMINDER Home Page. This service is free and requires only that you to enter the priority date, a reference for the PCT application (the PCT application number is often used), the number of prior days warning when you wish to receive the initial reminder, and a primary email address which will be confirmed before activating the reminder.
