Frank's main area of expertise is trade mark and copyright law with a special focus on export and import related aspects of worldwide brand protection.
Frank is a German qualified lawyer and holds a Master of Law Degree (1st Class Hons.) from the University of Auckland. Frank has a long lasting relationship with PIPERS, having joined PIPERS for the third time in 2012. Prior to re-joining PIPERS in 2012, Frank worked seven years for a major European pharmaceutical multinational where he headed the corporate trade mark department.
Frank now advises select clients in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry on branding and regulatory compliance issues. Frank can help clients to steer through the ever increasing regulatory formalities, such as the new European safety assessment and import notification regime, while protecting the clients' trade secrets and know how.
Outside of work, Frank enjoys playing the Saxophone, reading and spending time with his family.
